Flowserve Empowers Associates as Global Integrity Champions
Flowserve’s Integrity Champions advocate Integrity and Compliance awareness
With Integrity being a core value at Flowserve, we take great pride in “doing the right thing, always” and it is our goal as a company to have Integrity in every action and decision we make. Our culture values global integrity with local ownership. To help achieve this, Flowserve has designated integrity Champions as an extension of our Integrity and Compliance (I&C) team.
Integrity Champions are volunteer associates at our local sites trained to help raise integrity awareness while promoting ownership, deliver training, share I&C communications, and ensure integrity is a priority in local decisions. Integrity Champions also serve as local contacts for associates’ integrity questions and ethical dilemmas. In 2022, we expanded the team to include over 90 Integrity Champions worldwide.
Having a passion for ethics and conduct
Integrity Champions are key to the success of Flowserve’s I&C program and are chosen on certain criteria. Champions exemplify Flowserve’s values and behaviors, have a passion for ethics, are trusted by other associates at their site, have strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters, have leadership support and have served at least one year at Flowserve.
Keeping Integrity front and center in our operations improves our company’s overall performance and builds our culture of compliance. If associates ever have concerns about potential violations of law, our code of conduct, or our policies, they can promptly raise that concern with an Integrity Champion or by using any of the reporting channels available, including the Flowserve ethics hotline.
