Why Flowserve?
Flowserve is uniquely positioned to support the hydrogen economy, which is projected to see hundreds of billions of dollars in investments in the coming decade. Our extensive portfolio of flow control solutions addresses critical challenges in hydrogen projects—whether you're working on modular electrolyzers, industrial-scale hydrogen plants, high-pressure refilling stations, or cryogenic valves for liquefaction and storage.
At ADIPEC, visitors will experience firsthand how Flowserve’s pumps, seals, compressors, and valves meet the rigorous demands of hydrogen applications. We have decades of expertise in hydrogen and cryogenic services, making us the preferred partner for developers, technology companies, contractors, and end-users involved in the hydrogen economy.
Our interactive demos, including the INNOMAG TB-MAG pump, RedRaven valve monitoring system, and our Energy Advantage Program calculator, will showcase how our technology can help reduce emissions and energy consumption in industries like oil and gas.
About ADIPEC
ADIPEC is one of the world's largest and most influential oil and gas events, but this year, the focus expands to embrace energy transition, decarbonization, and digital transformation. These themes are central to Flowserve’s strategy, and we are excited to contribute to the dialogue with our range of flow control solutions designed for the energy of tomorrow. Our participation at ADIPEC 2024 underscores our commitment to empowering sustainable operations and driving innovation in critical industries worldwide.
Shaft seals and ball bearings are the weakest link in any pumping system, accounting for nearly 80% of all process pump failures. INNOMAG pumps address this critical weakness by eliminating both.
But that’s just the beginning.
INNOMAG pumps are also the first to address the inherent weakness of sealless pumps — process lubrication — which accounts for nearly all sealless pump failures. The revolutionary thrust-balanced design of INNOMAG pumps addresses the problem by reducing its dependency on process lubrication by more than 90% compared to traditional thrust-forward designs.
In addition, INNOMAG pumps are hermetically sealed. That means no leaks when they work and, in most cases, no leaks — even if they fail. As a result, they’re not only cleaner and safer for operators and the environment but also more cost-effective, consuming 10 to 46% less energy on average than typical sealed and sealless pumps.
This unique and patented technology not only takes sealless pump reliability to a whole new level, but also makes INNOMAG the first and only sealless pump capable of handling significant solids — up to 30% concentration by volume and up to ¼ in particle size.
INNOMAG pumps come in only one material option with near-universal chemical resistance, enabling a single pump model to cover a wider range of duty points and services. This allows you to standardize your pump fleet and optimize your spare parts inventory.
The versatility and simplicity of INNOMAG pumps make it possible to ship from stock in 5 days or less with better than 98% on-time delivery.
Durco was founded as the Duriron Casting Company in 1912. Its long history set the standard for ANSI chemical process pumps and robust plug valves. The brand is known for its durable designs, ease of maintenance, proven reliability, wide array of features and an extensive global support network. Complementary seals and seal systems are also available, enabling single-source convenience.
Highlights of Durco’s innovative history include the engineering and manufacturing of the world’s first Teflon® sleeve plug valve in the 1950s. The company has created unique materials, including Durimet-20 (Alloy 20) high alloy austenitic stainless steel — developed and patented in a joint effort with Ohio State University — and Durcomet 100 (CD4MCuN) duplex stainless steel in the 1960s. During the same decade, Durco introduced the first plug and butterfly valves fully lined with Teflon.
In 1997, Durco merged with BWIP, creating Flowserve Corporation.
Founded in 1965, Valtek revolutionized traditional control valves by adding a high-pressure piston actuator to enable maximum stiffness, plus a simple, one-touch calibration positioner. The result is a superior level of process control and simple, intuitive operation, resulting in more efficient and profitable operations.
Reliability, long life, parts interchangeability, ease of maintenance and prompt delivery are hallmarks of the Valtek brand.
From its beginnings in 1966, Kämmer has manufactured special application and general service control valves and actuators. Kämmer solutions are used extensively in the chemical, petrochemical, power, petroleum, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food processing and cryogenic industries.
Although more than half of all Kämmer valves are custom-designed, custom applications often don’t require additional time or cost because of the versatility and interchangeability of the Kämmer valve design.
