DALLAS, August 29, 2012 – Flowserve Corp. (NYSE:FLS), a leading provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets, announced plans to hire more than 70 employees at its Vernon, California, facility before the end of the year.
According to Jim Quain, president, Engineered Pump Operations, the company is targeting forward-thinking leaders and associates who are able to create leading technologies and solutions, as well as implement and execute processes and procedures that help keep operations running smoothly. “We plan to hire more than 70 operations employees, including mechanical engineering, pipefitting, assembly and quality assurance professionals,” said Quain. “We’re seeking a broad range of qualified candidates that are ready to put their talents and experience to work for an industry-leading company like Flowserve.”
The Vernon pump facility began operations in 1928. Today, the facility continues its long-standing heritage of quality pumping system engineering, manufacturing and testing. The facility designs, manufactures and assembles a variety of highly customized pumps and pumping systems designed for industries such as oil and gas production, water resources, and power generation.
