The Crosshead is designed to safely absorb all torque loads normally sustained from cutting operations. The Free Fall Arrestor ensures safe operation by preventing cutting assembly equipment from free falling in the event of suspension failure. No electric or pneumatic connections are required to activate the free fall arrestor system.
Flowserve decoking hoses are designed for the harsh environment of the delayed coker unit (DCU). These high-pressure hoses are oil- and chemical-resistant and feature abrasive-resistant outer covers with multiple layers of wire reinforcement for strength and durability.

Isolation valves are heavy-duty 6 in ball valves fitted with standard Limitorque® actuators. They are used to direct cutting water flow to the desired coke drum. The Flowserve Rotary Joint is robustly designed to support the suspended loads experienced in decoking units. It serves two key functions. First, it transfers water from the decoking hose to the drill stem and has a sealing system to allow the high-pressure water from the jet pump to pass into the rotating drill stem without leakage. Second, it provides rotational movement of the complete drill stem and cutting tool assembly by way of a driver mounted on it.
Specifically designed for use in coke cutting, the winch lifts and controls the cutting assembly. It raises and lowers the cutting tool in the coke drum and incorporates several features to assure safe, reliable operation under the most demanding conditions.
The winch is available with pneumatic, hydraulic or electric drive. Electric over air controls are available for sites that use pneumatic drive but want to go to remote cutting.
