Boiler

Boiler feed is an extremely demanding service for pumps, and a boiler feed pump is one of the most critical pieces of rotating equipment in the steam cycle. Flowserve offers radially and axially split multistage pump with single- or double-suction first stage impellers to handle moderate pressure applications. High energy double-case barrel pumps, in both diffuser and volute configurations, are available for the highest pressure applications. In addition, Flowserve can provide start-up boiler feed pumps, boiler feed booster pumps, and boiler circulation pumps.

On the steam side, Flowserve offers valves for critical boiler application including steam isolation and control, and boiler drains, blowdowns and blowoffs.  Styles include globe valves in angle, Y and T configurations, gate valves in wedge, split wedge and parallel slide configurations, quarter turn valves in butterfly, plug and ball configurations, check valves in lift, swing and tilting disc configurations and control valves in linear and quarter turn configurations.

Flowserve mechanical seals have successfully solved problems related to high pressure and high temperature water, high face speeds on large diameter shafts, and minimum reaction to temperature transients.
