Flowserve Wins National Safety Award

The National Safety Council (NSC) honored Flowserve Corporation with 110 National Safety Council Awards for 2008, designating it as one of the safest companies in America. A global provider of fluid motion and control products and services, Flowserve (NYSE: FLS) also received industry leader distinction for 2008 performance with three locations achieving "Industry Leader Awards," which recognize safety performance that is in the top 5 percent of all NSC member award recipients. The company has received a total of 593 NSC facility awards since 1991.
