Impacting Youth:

Flowserve will support children primarily in programs that encourage parental involvement and help students stay in school; programs that foster life-long learning through the use of technology; scholarships for academic excellence; enrichment programs that provide academic, social and cultural activities for healthy and responsible children and programs that have a general outcome of helping at-risk youth.

Flowserve Sponsors Dallas Cowboys Kick-off Luncheon benefiting Happy Hill Farm Academy:

Flowserve teamed with the Dallas Cowboys at their annual luncheon to kick off the 2006 NFL season and raise money for Happy Hill Farm Academy, a Texas non-profit charity supporting children. Cowboy’s players, coaches and former Cowboys legends were on hand at this philanthropic celebration. Flowserve supports the children at Happy Hill Farm through sponsorship support at the luncheon and through gifts during the holidays.

Flowserve Aids in Hurricane Relief:

Flowserve and its employees donated $200,000 in hurricane relief the American Red Cross for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Flowserve selected the American Red Cross because of the immediate positive impact the organization can have on the victims and because of their advanced distribution system.

"This is a terrible tragedy for the Gulf Coast region and for the United States," said Lewis M. Kling, Flowserve's president and chief executive officer. "While we have many employees, customers and friends of Flowserve who live in this area, these funds will be used to support those in need of immediate help. Flowserve employees continue to express their concern and have proven to be very supportive of these types of fund raising efforts. As a responsible corporate citizen, we are committed to helping the people in the affected areas.”
