Flowserve NAVAL butterfly valves are suitable for District Heating (CHP) installations, Heat Transfer piping, oil lines and oxygen-free water lines.

The NAVAL high performance metal seated butterfly valve can be used for open/close as well as for controlling of the flow. It is designed for tight sealing in both directions with good thermal tolerance, ensuring continued shut-off integrity and smooth operation. The NAVAL butterfly valves are available in sizes from DN350 to DN700 in pressure classes PN16 and PN25. The normal temperature range goes from -40 to +200 degrees.

CHARACTERISTICS: Double offset action which allows the closure to be adjusted externally providing excellent tightness in the closed position. Patented disc construction which means that the disc opens and closes without sliding across the seat thereby reducing wear and ensuring a longer life time. Large opening/closing angle of the disc eliminates sticking and jamming in the closed position. Low torque requiment means cost effectiviness when selecting an actuator. Meta seated. Tightness class according to ISO 5208-2, Rate D. Valves are designed to withstand the largest axial loading that may occur in the DH pipelines (300 N/mm2). Mounting flanges for actuators to ISO5211. Construction that allows a large bore and thus ensures excellent flow characteristics. Naval ball valves are manufactured in accordance withEuropean Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EY. Naval Oy applies Module H as conformity assessment procedure (=full quality assurance) controlled by Det Norske Veritas as notified body. Naval Oy has a certified quality system ISO 9001 and certified environmental management system ISO 14001.
